RESCUING LIVES

Millions of people from communities devastated by East Africa's worst drought in 60 years still need urgent help, but ongoing violence is making it harder to reach them. The IRC is continuing to deliver lifesaving aid.

BE A HERO

The IRC is joining forces with DC Entertainment's We Can Be Heroes campaign. Together, we aim to help millions of people suffering the effects of drought and famine in the Horn of Africa.

NEW ROOTS IN AMERICA

With support from the IRC, refugees from around the globe who have fled war and persecution are providing nutritious food for their families and planting new roots in their adopted communities in the United States.

HAITI, TWO YEARS ON

Two years after Haiti's devastating earthquake, the IRC is continuing to work in camps and neighborhoods that still lack basic services, assisting Haitians who are struggling to get by as their country slowly recovers and rebuilds.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. At work in over 40 countries and 22 U.S. cities to restore safety, dignity and hope, the IRC leads the way from harm to home.
