Cavine Akello sells traditional pancakes at a market stall in Kitgum, Uganda. An IRC program for young mothers helped her to save enough to open her business. Since the rebel Lord's Resistance Army was driven from the region, thousands of people have returned from displacement camps to rebuild their communities. more »
