On the eve of World Refugee Day (June 20), TakePart spoke with the International Rescue Committee's Bob Kitchen about the growing numbers of people forced to flee their homes and countries by conflict or natural disasters.
Bob is the director of emergency preparedness and response programs for the IRC. He laid out the four countries on the IRC's "permanent refugee watchlist" (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and the Philippines) and ranked five nations that are currently suffering the immediate effects of mass migrations.
