For the past few years, the coastal town of Hobyo in central Somalia made news for all the wrong reasons—hijackings of cargo ships at sea and kidnappings of foreigners on land. Despite the dangers, the IRC launched a primary health care program there this July. more »

On Syria conflict's deadliest day, UN doubles its appeal for refugee aid
