IRC Voices: Amanya Michael Ebye [Video]
March 16, 2009
By The IRC
Growing up in Uganda during a turbulent time, the IRC's Middle East regional director Amanya Ebye was twice displaced from his home. These experiences, Amanya says, enable him to better understand the plight of the people the IRC serves. In this week’s “IRC Voices” interview, Amanya also shares stories from his work reunifying children with their families following the Rwandan genocide. He speaks about the hope and optimism required to do our work.
