Uma what a strong women you
Uma what a strong women you are. I can't image leaving all that is familiar and starting over. But you have done it! May you be blessed with relief soon- a job, a job for your husband and school for Kusal.
I think its a wise decision
I think its a wise decision made by chet and uma to come to USA after terrible life as a refugee in Nepal. I wish for their easy and good future. The decision they made is very important in the life of their son kusal. All the best Chet, Uma and Kusal.
I wish they could live in a
I wish they could live in a place with a lower cost of living.
I was struck by Uma's comment
I was struck by Uma's comment about missing her country, what a difficult struggle-to sacrifice some comforts of home to better provide for her family.
This is so heartwarming.
This is so heartwarming. Experiencing a week this week, realizing how precious the things are that are closest to our hearts. If we have our loved ones, health, and the Giver of all those things, we are blessed beyond belief. These pictures really warm my heart in capturing just those simplicities, yet luxuries.
A difficult story made even
A difficult story made even more difficult by being away from everything and everyone you have known. Many Americans are going through difficult times, but they are "home". I hope Chet and Uma will not regret their decision to come to the U.S. I hope they will find strength in each other and have faith in their son's future. Frankly, I wish this for all of us.
Don't give up Uma! I know
Don't give up Uma! I know how you feel and Iknow how hard it is. I left my country 9 years ago and I miss it too. You have your beautiful family with you and they need you to be positive and joyful. Keep looking foward !
What a wonderful picture of
What a wonderful picture of Kushal reading! This picture portrays so much hope in contrast to the rest of the photos.
Wow - this is a difficult one
Wow - this is a difficult one to see. There are so many steps to success and it's such a lengthy process...I feel their frustration and anxiety through these photos. Thank you for sharing this with us.
