NORTH KIVU, Democratic Republic of Congo -
Children attending Rushege primary school in Tongo, in Congo's North Kivu province, play a football match against a rival school.
Congo has been engulfed by conflict for over a decade . The IRC increases access to education and forms parent-based community groups to support and strengthen schools and keep children learning, even during emergencies.
