BANGKOK, Thailand -
Paddling a makeshift boat through a flooded street in Bangkok's Rangsi area. The International Rescue Committee is offering support to Burmese refugee and migrant workers who have been stranded by the worst floods to hit Thailand in half a century. “This is a major disaster and the Burmese community is among the hardest hit,” said Christine Petrie, the IRC’s deputy program director in Thailand.
