In Sierra Leone, basic health care is often unavailable and many die from easily preventable and treatable diseases. The International Rescue Committee collaborates with local health centers to provide life-saving health care, including medicine, supplies and training of staff. Here, community members gather for a vaccination program against polio and a public health meeting.
