Photo of the Day: What to pack, Malaysia

Photo: Peter Biro/IRC

Thousands of Burmese refugees move to large cities, like Kuala Lumpur, to find work and begin the process of resettling to a third country. The International Rescue Committee helps these refugees maneuver through the complicated application process to resettle in the United States and, once accepted, prepares them for their new, and very different lives. Here, an IRC staff member shows a group of Burmese refugees what to pack for their move to the United States.
