A little greenery in honor of this first day of spring:
A gardener tends to his crops at the New Roots Community Farm run by the International Rescue Committee in the City Heights neighborhood of San Diego.
With support from the IRC, refugees from around the globe who have fled war and persecution are providing nutritious food for their families and planting new roots in their adopted communities in the United States.
