Nurse Areej Obeidat performs a blood test on a pregnant Syrian refugee in an International Rescue Committee clinic in the Jordanian city of Mafraq. 70% of Syrian refugees who have fled their country's civil war live outside of refugee camps.

It's obvious to see that Nurse Areej loves her work and the people she cares for. The smiles on both their faces made my eyes tear up a bit. Despite the devastating losses the refugee woman has had to endure, as well as worrying about an unknown future, she will most definitely forget Nurse Areej. Bless them both...
