Since the rebel Lord's Resistance Army was driven from the region, thousands of people have returned from displacement camps to rebuild their communities. more »

The IRC has been in northern Uganda since 1998 and our team, made up mostly of Ugandans, really understands the terrain. While Joseph Kony and his Lord's Resistance Army have most likely left the country, their violent legacy lives on. more »
