Thanks to a tractor donated by a local church, refugee farmers in the IRC's New Roots program in Phoenix will be able to do their work in half the time and harvest twice as much land. more »

When refugees arrive in the United States, they leave behind everything familiar. For many that also means losing ties to the land and a tradition of growing their own food. In response, the IRC has launched a nationwide program that helps refugees establish community gardens, farmers markets, food pantries and farm-based businesses. more »
