As Tropical Storm Isaac bears down on Haiti, the International Rescue Committee is monitoring the situation and is ready to send teams already on the ground to assess damage and deliver emergency assistance to Haitians affected by the storm.
Isaac is expected to hit Haiti with gale-force winds and as much as a foot of rain when it makes landfall later today.
