Aid Workers Abducted in Burundi are Freed

Three humanitarian aid workers abducted in two separate incidents in Makamba, Burundi, more than a week ago have been freed.

In a statement issued today, the IRC's director in Burundi  Jan Coffey says she's relieved and grateful that the relief workers were released unharmed, but she expressed concern that increasing insecurity will further hamper aid efforts.
