The International Rescue Committee is providing help, hope and a new home for Nadine Devilme, Junior Alexis and their infant daughter Jenny after the family, separated during the devastating January 12 earthquake in Haiti, reunited in Miami earlier this month.

On Monday, the family will be moving into an apartment in North Miami where they will live while Jenny receives continuing medical treatment for the injuries she sustained in the quake.  The IRC’s team is  getting their new home ready, moving in furniture and household supplies.

The furniture was generously donated by a furniture store called El Dorado.

The family’s IRC caseworkers have been busy these past few weeks, getting the family registered for benefits, taking them to appointments, orienting them to their new community, job hunting with Junior, and helping the family feel welcome and comfortable.
