IRC Seattle to open service center in Tukwila

IRC Seattle received a temporary grant from the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement to open a refugee Service Center in Tukwila starting summer 2000.  This branch office will allow us to extend services to clients in the South End suburbs of Tukwila, Burien and SeaTac, with a special emphasis on Somali and Bosnians in the area.  This office will provide refugees in the South End a variety of classes and workshops as well as connecting service providers and refugees to improve access for everyone.
