Last-Minute Charitable Gifts to the IRC

Thank you for your interest in supporting the International Rescue Committee.  If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation before the end of 2008, you may do so in the following ways:
 
Online: To make an online gift in 2008, please visit www.theIRC.org/donate.

You may also purchase IRC gift baskets to honor your loved ones by visiting www.fromharmtohome.org/baskets.

Your online gift must be completed no later than midnight EST on Wednesday, December 31 for 2008 tax purposes.

After you submit your credit card information online, you will receive an automatic e-mail acknowledgement from the IRC (ircupdates@theIRC.org). Please print this message and retain it as an official receipt of your online gift.

Mail: To make a gift by check, please send it to IRC, P.O. Box 98152, Washington, D.C. 20090-8152, postmarked by December 31.

Phone: To make a credit card donation by phone, please call 1-877-REFUGEE (1-877-733-8433). The deadline for credit card donations via phone is December 30 by 5 PM EST.

Stock: To make a gift of stock, please see our stock donation page for contacts and transfer information. Gifts of stock can be made up to the close of trading on December 30 at 4 PM EST. Please be sure to notify the IRC (either you or your broker can do this) of your gift of stock so we can identify your gift and rapidly send you a receipt for tax purposes.
