Photo Essay: Aid Reaches Communities Cut Off By Pakistan's Deadly Storms
Weeks of torrential rains, avalanches, flooding and severe snowstorms have claimed an estimated 700 lives in northern Pakistan.
IRC staff have reached stranded families with emergency supplies including flour, oil, sugar, salt, matches, blankets and clothes, and will soon be working with the World Food Programme to deliver food. They sent the following photographs of relief efforts and damage caused by the disaster.
