The grant will help the IRC reconstruct and repair health clinics and healthcare facilities, rehabilitate sanitation infrastructure, provide medical equipment and provide hygiene training in the Mansehra District of Pakistan.
This is the third grant awarded to the IRC by SAERF, which was organized and administered by the U.S-based Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy.
"This timely SAERF grant will allow us to directly address deficiencies in the primary health infrastructure," said IRC President George Rupp. "We are extremely grateful to the relief fund for their generosity."
