A refugee’s journey is fraught with painful choices, perilous roads and loss. But on this journey from harm to home what endures is a refugee’s dignity and courage to regain all that has been taken by conflict, persecution or natural disaster.

On June 20, 2011 the International Rescue Committee (IRC) joins the United Nations in its annual salute to the courage of refugees, World Refugee Day.
