Aerial Dance Showcase to Feature IRC Teens

The DAIR Project, a non-profit community arts company located in Grant Park, has partnered with IRC Atlanta to bring the world of aerial dance to refugee teens. This autumn, eight teens from IRC’s Youth Futures program have been attending lessons each Saturday, where they learn how to dance, move and perform using trapezes, ribbons, ladders, and more.

Mark your calendars and plan to join us on November 20 for Cultural Revival V, the DAIR Project’s annual fall performance. From Iraq and Nepal to the Congo and Ethiopia, our Youth Futures teens will artfully weave their cultures into aerial dance numbers, along with their DAIR Project counterparts. The evening promises to be a memorable showcase of performance art.
