Goods We Need for Refugees

The IRC in Atlanta is committed to bringing our refugee clients from harm to home.  As a part of that commitment, we provide them with necessities – such as clothing and household items – they will need to start rebuilding their lives in Georgia.  To do this, the IRC relies on donated items from community partners that are passed into the hands of our clients free of charge either through our Resettlement Shop or as part of an initial apartment setup.

Below is a list of items that are always in demand as we strive to meet the needs of our refugee clients.  Those that are in highest demand are marked in bold.  Donations can be made by bringing items to the IRC in Atlanta office at 2305 Parklake Drive, Atlanta, GA 30345. We accept both new and gently used items.  If you are interested in donating items or have any questions, please contact Duncan de la Feld at duncan.delafeld@rescue.org or 678-636-8933.
