New Employer Spotlight: Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle Mexican Grill, the successful chain with more than 1,000 restaurants throughout the United States including  two new locations in Atlanta, has become one IRC Atlanta’s newest refugee employers.

Majid Heidari, a refugee from Iran, now works at the chain’s brand-new Northlake Mall location. Resettled by IRC Atlanta in September, Majid had worked as a cook in Iran, and he was eager to find work in a restaurant here in the United States. In December, with the help of IRC Atlanta's employment specialists, Majid landed a job as a cook at Chipotle.

Says Majid, “ Chipotle is a very good company. I like the job very much and am very happy to work there. And, I can practice English with my coworkers.”
