Introducing Jeff Kirch: Family Mentor Program Assistant
Jeff Kirch, IRC’s Family Mentor Program Assistant, recently started working with IRC. Jeff has lived abroad for over 10 years and has worked with Sudanese and Somali refugees in Kenya. He has also worked with Tutsis and Hutus in Rwanda and lived in South Africa during the Apartheid movement. Jeffrey comes to us with experiences working as a Rehabilitation Service Provider with Catholic Charities in New York, as a Case Manager at a men’s homeless shelter in California and as a Mental Health Associate with the Care Connection in Baltimore.
As the Family Mentor Program Assistant, Jeff will be overseeing the volunteer program and the family mentor program. He will also be working to develop relationships with local organizations and universities for volunteer recruitment purposes.
