IRC Boise Back to School Campaign Gets a Boost

As children around the nation prepare to return to school, many will find themselves without the tools they require to learn.  Fortunately, refugee children arriving through the IRC Boise resettlement program are lucky to be the beneficiaries of a school supplies donation from the local chapter of Deseret Industries.  Each child received a back pack completely equipped with all the school supplies they will need for the coming semester, including binders, erasers, pencils, calculators, scissors, pens and rulers.

Deseret Industries has assisted the IRC office in Boise for the last four years, having donated essential items such as winter coats, gloves, shoes and a recent a donation of bed frames and mattress.  The donation will certainly be a life-changing assistance to both the students and their families.
