Northwest Nazarene University Homecoming Run to Benefit IRC Boise

November 6, 2010 is NNU’s homecoming one mile walk and 5K run.  The homecoming event, now in its fourth year, has become a celebrated event at the school attracting members of the community, alumni, friends, and family. During the event students have the opportunity to give back to the needy in our community, a value that aligns with NNU, in service and servant hood. 
 
IRC is honored to have the NNU students partner in addressing refugee needs in our community. We encourage you to sign up for the event or sponsor a participant.
 
The top two finishers in the competitive categories will receive prizes.  Prizes will also be awarded for participants raising the highest dollar amount or those who collect the highest number of pledges in the students, staff, faculty, and alumni/friends categories.  If you are not a runner, you can still help by bringing consumable items such as toilet paper, diapers, and feminine hygiene pads, a bottle of shampoo, deodorant, and razors to the event site.
