Backpacks needed

The summer and fall saw a lot of children arriving in Charlottesville from around the world, ready to enter new schools. With the help of community donations, the IRC has been able to provide them with clothes, shoes, and warm coats for the school year, but we’ve run out of backpacks! If you can contribute a new or gently used backpack for a child to use at school, please call Kimberly Brown at 434-979-772 ext. 114, or email Kimberly.Brown@Rescue.org.
