New Roots

One April Sunday, IRC staff, volunteers and refugee gardeners prepared the New Roots community garden on 4th Street for a new season, providing 16 refugee families the means to grow fresh organic produce. Many thanks to Steve Murray at Panorama Pay Dirt, volunteers from APO service fraternity at UVA, and refugee gardeners who were there to help! The 4th Street garden is ready for planting!
