Back to School

This fall, over 70 refugee children in Dallas started the school year with a new backpack, thanks to the generosity of volunteers and supporters who purchased and donated school supplies during the recently completed IRC in Dallas Back to School drive. These school supplies will benefit children from Burma, Iraq, Bhutan and other countries, some of whom will sit in a classroom for the first time when they arrive to the United States.

Donations for the Back to School drive were provided by the Korean World Mission Baptist Church, Binerri Presbyterian Church, Highland Park Presbyterian Church, and volunteers and supporters of the IRC in Dallas.
