Texas Health Dallas Supports Emergency Housing

IRC Dallas has received a $2,500 donation for our Emergency Housing Fund from the PHorum, a group of local business and civic leaders which supports Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.  The PHorum provides funding for outreach efforts in the Vickery Meadow area of Dallas. For newly-arrived families, the economic downturn is posing enormous challenges with fewer employable adults able to find full-time employment before their federal assistance runs out.  Without employment, many risk losing their homes.  This generous donation from Texas Health Resources will allow refugee families to remain stably housed while they look for work. If you are interested in making a donation to the Emergency Housing Fund, please contact Mellisand.LeRoy@theIRC.org.
