Applying for citizenship may seem confusing and overwhelming, but the International Rescue Committee in Los Angeles is here to make it easy! Simply contact the IRC office at (818) 550-6220 to make an appointment with our Immigration Department and bring the following documentation with you to your appointment to file your application:
1. Green Card
2. Driver’s License
3. Social Security Card
4. Your passports
5. The application fee of $680 (or $600 if 75 or older), by CHECK or MONEY ORDER, payable to U.S. Citizenship & and Immigration Services” Cash WILL NOT be accepted.
6. For the I-912 (fee waiver) form, bring in taxes, 6 months of pay stubs, any letter to prove public benefits are being received. If filling through hardship bring in unemployment forms and anything else that is relevant.
7. TWO passport style photos (color, front face, 2”x2”)
8. If you are married now: your spouse’s birth date, marriage date, social security #, A-number (if applicable), and naturalization date and place (if applying after three years of marriage to United States)
9. If you or your spouse were married before: The previous spouse’s immigration status, marriage date, and date the marriage ended
10. If you have children: Their birth dates, A-numbers (if applicable), and current addresses
11. Home addresses for the past 5 years
12. Employment or school for the past 5 years
13. Trips to other countries (including Mexico and Canada) since you became a permanent resident. Do not list trips of less than 24 hours
14. Crimes or offenses (including traffic violations), if any. Please bring court or DMV records, if available.

7- دو قطعه عکس پاسپورت 2 در 2 (رنگی، تمام رخ)
8- اگر متاهل هستید، این مدارک را ارائه دهید: تاریخ تولد همسر، تاریخ ازدواج، شماره سوشال سکیوریتی، شماره گرین کارت و چنانچه همسر شما تابعیت آمریکایی دارند، تاریخ و محل دریافت تابعیت را ارائه دهید.
9- اگر شما و یا همسرتان در گذشته ازدواج کرده اید: وضعیت مهاجرت همسر قبلی، تاریخ ازدواج و تاریخ طلاق.
10- درصورت داشتن فرزند: تاریخ تولد فرزندان، شماره گرین کارت، و آدرس محل اقامت کنونی ایشان
11- تمام آدرس های محل اقامت 5 سال گذشته شما
12- شغل و محل تحصیل 5 سال گذشته شما
13- تمام مسافرت های خارج از کشور (شامل مکزیک و کانادا) از زمان اقامت دائم شما در آمریکا
14- در صورت هرگونه قانون شکنی (شامل تخلفات رانندگی) ارائه مدارک مربوط به دادگاه یا راهنمایی و رانندگی.

5. La cuota es de $680 (o $600 si es mayor de 75 años) en forma de cheque o giro (MONEY ORDER), a nombre de “US CITIZENSHIP & IMMIGRATION SERVICES”. NO SE ACEPTA EFECTIVO.
6. Traiga la forma I-912 (Solicitud para la exención de pago de cuotas), una copia de sus impuestos, talón de cheque de salario por los últimos seis meses, y cualquier correspondencia que demuestre haber recibido beneficios públicos. Si aplica por privación económica, necesita traer documentación de desempleo o cualquier otra documentación que sea relevante.
7. Dos fotos tamaño pasaporte (a color, cara de frente, 2X2)
8. Si está casado: fecha de nacimiento, fecha de casamiento, numero de seguro social, numero de su tarjeta verde (si es aplicable), y fecha y lugar de naturalización (si es aplicable) de su conjugue.
9. Si fue casado previamente: el estatus migratorio de su conjugue anterior, fecha de casamiento, y la fecha cuando el matrimonio termino.
10. Si tiene hijos: Sus fechas de nacimiento, números de sus tarjetas verdes (si es aplicable), y sus domicilios.
11. Todos sus domicilios de hace 5 años.
12. Todos sus lugares de empleo y escuelas de hace 5 años.
13. Viajes a otros países (incluyendo México y Canadá) desde que se convirtió en residente permanente. No incluya viajes menos de 24 horas.
14. Crímenes y ofensas (incluyendo violaciones de tráfico) si tiene. Favor de traer sus documentos de la corte o DMV, si están disponibles.
