Baby Buggy Donor Event
On June 11, Iraqi refugee Nazar Yeghia and his family had the opportunity to attend the Pre-Father’s Day Mini-Golf Open hosted by Baby Buggy and Britax. This event, held at Castle Park in Sherman Oaks, celebrated the release of Britax’s new baby carrier.
“It was really awesome,” said Nazar. “It was a beautiful day!” He gushed about the amazing gifts he received, including a gentle sunscreen for babies and a stroller. “I asked about the stroller, and they just told me to give my address so they could ship it to me!” he exclaimed, happily. He was also the proud recipient of the brand new Britax baby carrier, of which he is already an enthusiastic fan. “It doesn’t give me back pain. And when it held my son, he stopped crying. He evaluated it better than me!”
Nazar and his family also participated in family-friendly games after lunch, like golf and baseball. “My wife and sons thought it was awesome!”
This isn’t the first time Baby Buggy has generously showered IRC-LA’s clients with donated items. Their boundless support is a tremendous relief on the families IRC-LA serves. The items Baby Buggy provides assist clients in overcoming the hurdles they face as they rebuild their lives in the United States. After entering the U.S. with little aside from a strong sense of hope and anticipation of a new life, these families are deeply touched to be greeted by Baby Buggy’s immense generosity.
