International Rescue Committee (IRC)

IRC-LA Seeks Volunteer Coordinator Intern for Spring 2012

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. The IRC leads the way from harm to home. The IRC provides opportunities for refugees to thrive in America; in Los Angeles and many other regional offices across the country, the IRC helps them rebuild their lives and achieve self-sufficiency. To accomplish this, IRC-LA relies heavily on efforts by our interns and volunteers.

Our interns contribute their time and energy in many ways. If you are ready to make a difference in a refugee’s life, please join our team!
