"The Power of the Powerless" Film Screening
Los Angeles based Agora Productions' award-winning documentary, "The Power of the Powerless," a film that dramatically portrays 1989's Czechoslovak "Velvet Revolution" and the mass demonstrations that took place in the streets of Prague opens Friday night, March 11 at Laemmle's Music Hall 3, located at 9036 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, 90211.
Narrated by Oscar-winner Jeremy Irons, and featuring former Czech President Vaclav Havel, "The Power of the Powerless" recalls the lonely struggle for freedom in Czechoslovakia, which eventually inspired mass demonstrations that triggered the collapse of the country's communist government.
