“Holiday Party” another big success

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the IRC in Miami’s “Holiday Party”. The night of December 17th was a magical one, more than 400 families reunited under the roof of the Miami Children’s Museum to enjoy the entertainment, games and food.
 
As families were coming in to register, they were welcomed by IRC staff and volunteers and escorted to the auditorium where they enjoyed the performance of MaWon, Ernst (playing the congas), Nicole Herrera, Mr. Hansy, David Gelart, Carlos Manuel, and others.  The little ones had a blast with all the activities the museum had to offer and with ÑoÑo the clown. Also, Mickey Mouse and his friends showed up to take pictures with everyone.
 
IRC Voice, Jencarlos Canela attended the party as well to talk about his experience in Haiti and to distribute toys to the little ones with the help of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
 
The IRC would like to send a special thank you to ESPN, Solair Group, Community Medical Group, Vanessa Gonzalez and her models girls, Florida Institute of Technology, CAI Cellulars, Sanlago Bakery, Ivan Galindo (Sculptor), IRC Club in FIU, Ambassador Beverages, Ñoo Que Barato Stores, Almaguer Designs, SBS, Hilario Bell, Paco’s Paladar, Yamile Machin, Miss Haiti, Photographer Ricardo Saint-Cyr, Artist Floyd, and last but not least IRC staff and volunteers for making this event one of the most successful ever.
