Art Connects NY Installation Adorns IRC Staten Island Office

IRC Staten Island in partnership with Art Connects New York celebrated Immigrant Heritage Week on April 17th with the opening of DiverseCity: An Artistic Exploration of Immigration, Cultural Identity, and Creating Home.  Original artwork donated by Staten Island artists became a permanent installation meant to brighten the lives of IRC’s staff and clients alike.  The collection documents the many ethnicities that make up Staten Island, such as Sri Lanka,Mexico, Liberia and others.  It is still open for viewing – just call the IRC Office on Staten Island at 347-934-3886 to arrange a visit.
