Refugee Voices Issue No.2

The second issue of Refugee Voices is finally here!

With the arrival of the New Year comes a new compilation of writing by refugee and asylee students of the IRC’s Adult Education Program. Through a variety of writing styles and visual arts mediums, the authors express their first impressions of America, the experience of leaving their homelands and starting new lives or simply introduce themselves openly for the first time in the English language. 

Refugee Voices is the result of the dedicated mentoring of volunteer Writing Class instructors Erika Munk and Natasa Milasinovic.
