Refugee Youth Benefit at the Brooklyn Brewery

Join the IRC NY Regional Office for an evening of Brooklyn Brewery beer and food from local Williamsburg restaurants!
 
The event will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 9:00 pm, at the Brooklyn Brewery (79 North 11th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211 - L Train to Bedford Avenue).

IRC NY's Summer Academy prepares newly arrived refugee children to succeed in New York City schools through a supportive and creative learning community. The six-week program will serve over 100 refugee students, representing more than 17 nations and speaking over 20 languages. Students will arrive from countries such as Burma, Iraq and Bhutan, having endured extreme hardships, and now face a challenging, but hopeful transition to their new lives. Thank you for your support in helping refugee youth enjoy their first summer in New York City.
