Refugee Youth Benefit at the Brooklyn Brewery - Big Success

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2nd Annual Refugee Youth Benefit at the Brooklyn Brewery last Saturday. The evening was a tremendous success and we were able to raise close to $10,000 for our Refugee Youth Program and the 2010 Summer Academy. A very special thanks to the Brooklyn Brewery for hosting our benefit again, independent filmmakers Renee Silverman and Peter Miller for their short clip documenting the Summer Academy, as well as all of the wonderful individuals, volunteers and restaurants who donated food and raffle prizes for the occasion.

The event kicked off our exciting raffle, with a good number of amazing prizes, from Broadway theatre tickets to the Worksman Cycles Classic Cruiser Bike in signature IRC colors.  Raffle tickets are still available until the big drawing on May 3rd. Should you wish to purchase tickets, contact us either by phone (212-551-3122) or email (vanessa.pirandello@theirc.org).
