Refugee Youth Participate in MLK Day

Refugee Youth from the IRC's NY Regional Office participated in this year's National Day of Service by joining a city wide effort organized by Children for Children. The project involved a series of art projects including the decoration of scarves to be distributed to homeless shelters around the city. Refugee children as young as four years old and usually on the receiving end, were proud to be given the opportunity to give back.
