- Helping refugees acclimate to their new surroundings by teaching them how to open a bank account or escorting them to the grocery store
 
- Welcoming visitors to the office and helping them practice their English or fill out a job application form

- Helping with interpretation in languages such as Arabic, Burmese, French, Nepali or Spanish
