The IRC is grateful for another year of partnership with the Junior League of San Francisco

The Junior League of San Francisco (JLSF) and IRC are entering into their sixth year of partnership.  The collaboration garners a yearly grant and a team of dedicated Junior League volunteers who mentor refugee families, plan and organize community events, and assist the IRC in Northern California in other community outreach efforts.  Under the leadership of Committee co-chairs Cindy Rai and Nicole Bierg, the group of JLSF volunteers will mentor two refugee families, organize and host an event for IRC clients and their families and served as an integral part of IRC’s Thanksgiving festivities.  In addition, the group’s Provisional Committee organizes donation drives for household supplies to assist arriving refugees for many months to come.  The IRC would like to thank the outgoing Program Committee for all their dedication and support to refugees and is excited to work with the committee for another year!
