Volunteer Experiences

 
I know moving to a completely different country is daunting, and I feel that I can help give our clients hope in their new lives by making things easier for them. I welcome them to their new home of America by being a good, friendly, and kind representative of the people they now call their neighbors. The IRC office is an awesome place to be because the people who work and volunteer here not only want to make a positive difference in the lives of others, but they also are the most down-to-earth, fun, and funny people in Northern California! Helping out at the IRC has allowed me to find a beautiful niche with my fellow volunteers -- one of compassion and merriment, and a celebration of pure, altruistic, and joyful service.
