Annual Holiday Luncheon and Donations Drive
‘Tis the season for giving, and we would like to extend our gratitude to all of our community partners and supporters this year. A Taste of the World, IRC’s annual holiday luncheon, has been scheduled for Thursday, December 17th from 11am to 1pm. The event does require an RSVP and reservations are limited to 300. To show appreciation for our community partners, IRC staff will prepare and donate all the food for this event, so gear up your senses for delicious menu featuring dishes from all corners of the world!
We are suggesting a contribution of ten dollars or equal value of hygiene products or baby items at the door for this event. We are seeing a continuous need for these items in the refugee community, as these items are critical for a new family’s health and success, but are often very expensive on a limited budget. Contributions in excess of ten dollars will be greatly appreciated and be given an acknowledgement.
We currently are in great need of bar soap, shower gel, shampoo, feminine hygiene products and laundry detergent. We will be accepting these items at the holiday luncheon and through drop-off appointments at the office during regular business hours. Please consider making an in-kind donation to help these new Americans.
