December Volunteer Orientation

If you are interested in contributing to the work of the IRC in Phoenix as a volunteer or intern, the first step is to attend the Volunteer Orientation. The hour long orientation includes Refugee 101, and is a great way to learn more about the work of the IRC, as well as the various volunteer opportunities available to meet your particular skills and interests.
 
The next Volunteer Orientation will occur on Monday, December 12 from 6:00-7:00 pm at the IRC in Phoenix office on 7th Street North of Camelback Rd. (5227 N. 7th Street Phoenix, AZ 85014). To reserve your spot and receive more information, please send an email to VolunteerPHX@Rescue.org.
 
Following the Volunteer Orientation, there will be a 30 minute session for more information regarding internship opportunities.
 
Please Note: Volunteers and interns must complete a background check prior to working directly with clients. The IRC kindly requests that you consider donating $30 toward the cost of conducting the background check.
