Drop Off Donations At The Shop
With support from the community, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Phoenix helps approximately 800 refugees build new lives in the United States each year. Many have waited years for a place to call home. With your donation of in-kind goods, you can help them acclimate to their new lives in America.
The IRC Resettlement Shop meets important household and personal needs during the initial arrival period. Staffed by volunteer support and visited by hundreds of refugee families each year, the Resettlement Shop is a melting pot, bringing together people of different languages, cultures and backgrounds. Every Saturday, refugees come to shop and select items for their homes ranging from dishes and linens to clothing and toiletry products.
All in-kind donations are now accepted exclusively at the IRC Resettlement Shop on Saturdays. Donations made to the IRC are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. All items should be in good condition and in working order, as the IRC cannot make repairs to broken or damaged items.
Another way to make a difference is through the IRC’s Holiday Giving Campaign. For more information about how you can “adopt” a family for the Holidays, click here.
