Goods Donation Program Gets a New Home

The IRC’s Goods Donation Program moved from its cozy rooms at the IRC office to a spacious two-bedroom apartment at Willow Springs Apartment Complex. Thanks to a generous donation by Centurion Management and Willow Springs, the Goods Donation Program can better serve newly arrived refugees from the apartment. Relocated on January 29 and 30, a big thank you goes out to the volunteers from Intel, Pearson Digital Learning and the Phoenix community who made the move possible.

The bigger space allows for more items and organization, and the apartment is very accessible to refugees who are coming to browse for items to make their homes more comfortable. We are currently accepting donations of new or gently used household items, including personal and home hygiene products as well as school supplies.
