Got land? We’ve got farmers looking to expand their businesses!
Entrepreneurial refugee farmers need more land to expand their farm businesses. The IRC in Phoenix is establishing a Land Bank to match farmers with new land opportunities.
It may be a backyard space or acres of unused farm land. If you have either and want to support our farmers, please contact us. We are especially interested in little to no cost opportunities.
If a land and farmer match occurs, the IRC will facilitate an agreement to outline water usage, fees, terms of use, and any other necessary arrangements to accommodate both parties.
Inviting a refugee farmer to your land will beautify your space and help the farmer feed their family and their community.
